The best “feeling” ingredients
This company has the most wonderful scents, and the best “feeling” ingredients. I can tell by the smell that everything that goes into these soaps are so fresh and yummy! Highly recommended!

I was a little scared at first as I have locs and it didn’t seem like it was cleaning and when washed out my hair felt very dry. I realized it was more gentle than my normal shampoo because it didn’t pull out my color (a good thing). This review sounds bad but my good review comes for the after process. I noticed that my scalp didn’t itch and wasn’t dry as with my other shampoo regiment. I also noticed the smell was not lingering or overpowering and my hair felt lighter when it dried.

Left my hair waxy after the first use. This can be normal for hair still adapting to natural shampoos but my hair is already adapted, so it’s likely this particular shampoo just doesn’t work well in hard well water. I do like that there was no scent, even with the ACV in it. Decent amount of suds. Wish our water wasn’t so hard.

Bubbles up nicely. The sample fits in my retainer case for quick brushes after lunch. Wouldn’t use it as my full-time toothpaste, tho. Doesn’t leave my mouth feeling quite clean enough.

I wish there were a few more specifics. For example, the book mentions using carrots rom bolster yellow colorants but does not give any information about quantities and in what form (raw? Cooked? Juiced?)
