Alō Body Butter is a blend of all natural oils, butters, waxes, and essential oils whipped to naturally nourish your skin.
Back orders are typically fulfilled in 3-5 business days.
Alō Body Butter is a blend of all natural Oils and Butters (Shea, Cocoa Butter, Almond Oil) and waxes (Jojoba and Bees Wax), and is available in 3 sents: Pure (unscented), Peppy Orange and Mint, and Calm with Lavender.
Body butter is different than typical lotions, and a little bit goes a long way. Standard commercial lotions have added water, alcohol, and preservatives (due to the high water content) while body butter is 100% pure oils and butters—nothing else. My special blend of butters and oils (with a dab of beeswax) ensure that the product goes on smoothly without leaving a greasy residue.
To use: scoop out a small amount of the butter, warm in your hands, and apply!
If you love using your own essential oils, purchase the Pure Body Butter. It’s unscented, making it the perfect base for adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Just temper (instructions below) and add your favorite essential oil while whipping.
Alō products are handmade using all natural ingredients. Please allow for color and design differences in each batch.
Has your body butter ever melted and gotten a bit grainy/bumpy? As a natural product, body butter is susceptible to nature. That means it can melt in your car, in the blazing summer heat, or anytime it’s exposed to temperatures above around 90 degrees.
Melted body butter is perfectly safe to use (In fact, your body temperature, and the act of massaging it, melts the butter as you use it.) but it may develop a grainy texture as it cools back down. The graininess (or butter bumps) are a result of different fatty acids cooling down at different temperatures. After melting, the fatty acids will eventually turn solid again, but each does so at a different temperature. If the butters and oils cool slowly, fatty acids can crystallize into large clumps, which causes the graininess. If they cool quickly, they won’t have time to crystallize and you’ll have smooth body butter once again.
If your body butter has melted, and you don’t mind the texture, you’re all set. If you prefer your body butter to always be a silky smooth experience, you can temper your butter back to its original state.
